Local Mix Hardwood.
- Cheap, Fast burning wood ideal to get the fire started.
- A mixture of various Eucalypt woods.
North Coast Mix Hardwood.
- A mixture of hardwood seasoned for 10 years plus! Ideal for 6 - 8 hours burning.
- Easier to start
- Better for evening only burning.
Ironbark.
- These timbers are the slowest growing and the hardest of all hardwoods. Seasoned standing, dead, from 30 - 100 years.
- Harder to start but will burn 6 - 8 hours.
- Cannot be put out even if the vent closed, unless water is used.
- Very little ash. Clean out fire only once per season approximately.
Western Ironbark.
