The Cove Standard (STD) concrete sleeper is a sandstone-look sleeper with a warm sandy/yellow textured face, echoing natural sandstone masonry.
Each sleeper measures 2000 x 200 x 75mm (L x W x D) and, in a standard (std) retaining wall configuration, can be used to build walls up to 2m high between steel posts.
Manufactured from industry-leading 60MPa concrete (50% stronger than standard 40MPa concrete) with 2 x N10 reinforcing bars running the full length of the sleeper. Engineered and certified to AS3600/2018 for a 50-year design life, and backed by a 20-year product warranty. Made locally at Outback Sleepers’ Lonsdale, SA factory.
Concrete sleepers never rot, warp or attract pests, making them a genuine zero-maintenance alternative to timber for retaining walls, raised garden beds and levelling sloped blocks.
